This site is about one thing: great music. What we have to deal with is that ‘great’ is entirely subjective.

To put it simply, I am the subject. This site contains music that I like and I make no apologies for my tastes. I’m not saying that music I don’t like is not good, just that it isn’t my style.

So with that out of the way, I am more than happy for artists to approach me and ask me to consider their music for inclusion on the site. The best way to do this is by email. Send me an email at thesittingduckcollection@gmail.com and include a link to your music, or even attach a few MP3s. Your music will be treated with respect and I will let you know if I would like to feature some of it by a return email – at which time I will discuss any details of which songs and whether I would like to involve you in the production.

Please be aware that this is not my day job and at times it may take me a while (possibly even weeks) to get around to having a proper listen to your music and to respond.  I do have a system which stops anything falling through the cracks, so if you don’t hear from me for a while it’s not because I’ve lost your email – just that I am busy. Or being lazy for a while.
